Oceans Apart is a tattoo studio that specialises in quality custom tattoo designs at Erina on the Central Coast, NSW.
Brief: Our client derived their name from a film about nomadic pirates who sail the seven sea’s, leaving a sense of tyranny and heartbreak in their wake.
Idea: With reference to rum swilling pirates, traditional hand lettering, and the personalised artwork of tattooing, this brand is created using a custom created typographic piece. Unlike our miscreant pirate friends, it was also important to create a sense of clinical professionalism, which was achieved through the simple colour palate and cleanliness of the design execution.
